OPERA NORTH BIG SING: The Water Diviners Tale


Join us for an inspirational evening of music making as pupils from Stobhillgate First School & Seahouses Primary School join forces to perform a specially commissioned arrangement of The Water Diviner’s Tale written by award winning film composer Rachel Portman and librettist Owen Sheers. The Water Diviner’s Tale focuses on the theme of climate change and how we are all responsible for our actions on earth. School children will be performing as part of a massed choir, accompanied by professional soloists, The Water Diviner narrator and members of the Orchestra of Opera North.

Parking is located to the rear of the Playhouse in the public car parks. Parking discs are required to be displayed until 6pm and are available from the Visitor Information Centre located within the Playhouse building. Please check individual car park signs for any time restrictions.
