Youth Theatre

Who are we?

The Playhouse Youth Theatre is for children age 7-19 years old living in Northumberland. We divide into groups following Key Stage and School year groups.

We are an open access group which means no auditions to join and no previous experience is required, just enthusiasm, commitment, creativity and a willingness to have a go!

Youth Theatre

Building confidence through theatre

Our staff create a fun, supportive and encouraging environment for our members to explore drama and develop their communication and theatre skills. The focus is on building confidence and working together through drama.

Our groups have unique access to the Playhouse with weekly workshops in our rehearsal or studio spaces and access to the main stage and studio for a performance piece or plays every year.
